METdance is preparing to showcase some of the most talented teens around with its upcoming performance, Youth Novels. The show features the organization's youth training company MET too - with 15 students, ages 13-18, dancing in pieces they have been learning and rehearsing all season.
In celebration of METdance's 20th season, MET too will be reviving some former of its past performance, including work by choreographers Pattie Obey and Kiki Lucas. The show will also include pieces by guest choreographers Sean Carmon, Josh Manculich, Terrill Mitchell, Ida Saki, as well as company member Kerry Jackson and Victor Lozano, a former MET too dancer and Juilliard graduate.
