Brazos Bookstore hosts a reception and fundraiser for youth literacy group Meta-Four Houston to help send its National Poetry Slam team to the Brave New Voices 2011 International Youth Poetry Slam Festival in San Francisco, the largest ongoing spoken word event in the world.
Meta-Four Houston is a nonprofit organization that encourages self-expression and literacy among Houston's youth through creative writing and performance. Meta-Four poets will be on-hand to showcase their competition poems.
