With a live, candid conversation between Mariel Hemingway and Brené Brown, The Menninger Clinic's luncheon will encourage more open dialogue about mental illness and treatment and how it affects the individual as well as the family. As part of this dialogue, Hemingway will show excerpts from her new documentary, Running from Crazy, which depicts her struggles with her family's mental illnesses and how she found balance and a healthy way of living.

The luncheon will also highlight Menninger's local and national efforts to diminish stigma while accelerating future advancements in mental health treatment, prevention, education and research.
