NFL player Brandon Marshall will serve as keynote speaker of Menninger’s 2019 Annual Signature Luncheon, discussing his career in the NFL as well as his commitment to mental health awareness. In 2011, Marshall revealed his diagnosis with borderline personality disorder and, together with his wife Michi, co-founded the nonprofit organization Project 375 to reduce the stigma of mental illness and improve early mental health intervention for adolescents.
Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit mental health treatment, research and training at The Menninger Clinic.
