Returning for a follow-up performance to last year's concert is beloved MECA alumna, vocalist Vanessa Alonzo, who has wowed audiences with her soaring voice and commanding stage presence. Mariachi Emperadores de México, under the direction of Raúl Medina, will accompany Alonzo.

Also returning to perform are mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte and baritone Octavio Moreno, who will join Alonzo to present a program of romantic song from Latin America. Pianists Ana-María Otamendi and Joseph Li will accompany the vocalists. The concert is presented in partnership with Houston Grand Opera and HGOco.
