Sarah Williams' paintings reveal the allure of the rural American landscape. From modest houses backlit by a twilight sky to vibrant neons of carnivals and motel signs, Williams creates a painted world that is undeniably captivating.
Williams received her MFA from the University of North Texas and has shown extensively throughout the United States. Her work has been exhibited at the Nicolaysen Art Museum in Casper, Wyoming, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri, and the Galveston Arts Center in Galveston.
