The McGovern Centennial Gardens, designed by Hoerr Schaudt with White Oak Studio consulting, is Hermann Park Conservancy's largest improvement project ever undertaken. The venture will completely transform the existing 15-acre Garden Center site into a spectacular new attraction for visitors. The Gardens will feature a Family Garden, Great Lawn, 30-foot Garden Mount, Celebration Garden, Rose Garden and the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion, designed by architect Peter Bohlin of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.

This family-friendly opening day celebration will include art projects sponsored by Macy's, Inc., music, food, performances and more. A dedication ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.
