Houston Indymedia's "Masked Mexico in the Age of Anxiety," will screen two films by director Greg Berger: Amor en Tiempos de Invluenza (Love in the Times of Influenza) and La Rebeldia Bajo Sitio (Rebellion Under Siege), dealing with the swine flu hysteria in Mexico and paramilitary violence in the Chiapas region.

Berger will lead a Q&A session fllowing the screening.

All films sponsored by the department will be screened in the Rice Media Center building's Film Auditorium. The Rice Media Center building is located at Entrance 8 on the Rice Campus at Stockton and University Blvd. Cinema patrons may park in the Greenbriar lot or in the stadium lots between Shepherd School of Music and Rice Stadium.
