The 42nd Annual South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade features a Let Freedom Ring theme led by Grand Marshall Dana Tyson of Sunny 99.1 with marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats along with appearances from local dignitaries. The Texas Army National Guard Brigade Headquarters, 72nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team; 1-133D Field Artillery, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team along with Expeditionary Medical Facility Detachment J and members of the U.S. Navy will participate in the parade. Marching bands include students from The Woodlands College Park High School, Willis High School and Hempstead High School. More than 8,000 guests will line the streets and enjoy the parade, which makes its way through Market Street.
