The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala will jazz up this year's event with a Mardi Gras theme. In 2012 the gala broke all records, raising more than $1 million to support the mission of the March of Dimes, which is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

The expected crowd of 800 partying foodies will sample tantalizing morsels created by 20 of Houston's most celebrated chefs. In this year's lineup are Giancarlo Ferrara (Arcodoro), Kiran Verma (Kiran's) and Barbara McKnight (Catering by Culinare). In addition to the culinary offerings, a selection of boutique wines will be offered and guests can bid on an array of auction items.
