Nonprofit design house Magpies & Peacocks hosts its fall/winter "Closet Deposit," a night of charitable giving during which guests bring gently used fashion accessories to deposit (donate). Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, spirits, grooves from DJ Russell and shopping from the curators at Laboratoria, who seamlessly blend art with high fashion from Paris, London, Russia and New York.

Proceeds benefit arts education program Catwalks and Classrooms, which provides schools with quality up-cycled materials as part of the design curriculum, and the Glassell School Fashion Student Scholarship Foundation.

Items collected will be up-cycled by competing local fashion students to be showcased alongside original pieces. The culminating runway show in March 2015 will celebrate vintage classics and cutting-edge design.
