eventdetail
University of Houston

Just in time for the holidays, UH's Hines College of Architecture offers a collection of items designed and manufactured by students as part of a new class titled "Architecture of the Object." On sale at PH Design Shop in Rice Village, items range from a beautifully-sculpted desktop planter in concrete to a classy leather beer carrier.

The limited-edition objects will be unveiled during a public opening at the design store from 6 to 8 p.m. Students and course professor Cord Bowen will be on site to discuss the merchandise.
