Three of LongHorn Steakhouse’s top Grill Masters – including a Houston competitor – will face-off in a grilling competition for the chance to become a finalist in the restaurant’s second annual Steak Master Series challenge. The Grill Masters include Houston competitor Mauricio Salazar from The Woodlands restaurant, Darius Jones from Fort Smith and Michael Coates from Denver.

The Steak Master Series puts LongHorn’s expert Grill Masters nationwide to the test in an epic competition that celebrates the restaurant’s commitment to craftsmanship on the grill. At the end of the event, the top Grill Master in LongHorn’s western division – spanning 11 different states – will be named. In June, the finalist will join six other competitors at LongHorn’s headquarters in Orlando to compete for the $10,000 grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.
