Lone Star Lyric celebrates the "Grimm" side of fairy tales with five world premieres. This series of newly commissioned works by American composers consists of a prologue, three one-act operas and a Broadway-style musical, all based on unsweetened tales from the Brothers Grimm. Performed by a cast of Houston's singers, alternating pairs of fairy tales will be presented over four days. The musical prologue introduces each pair.
