"Lone Star Libations & Culinary Creations" is a bourbon-paired culinary experience that showcases vintages from Garrison Brothers, the only bourbon produced in Texas using locally grown grains. Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by a four-course bourbon paired dinner starting at 7 p.m. Each course will be paired with a Garrison Brothers bourbon as presented by the distillery's co-founder, Charlie Garrison.
The first course will present a charred oak chicken fried chicken drizzled with ancho-spiked local honey served over creamed corn maque choux. Next, guests will enjoy a redneck cheddar and bourbon fondue served with a garlicky, local rye crostini followed by a cherry glazed bone-in pork chop with wild mushroom barley risotto and sweet vermouth roasted celery chutney. For dessert, guests will indulge in a spiced chocolate chess pie.
