A part of the Spring Bayou Bend Series, these lectures will focus on dedicating and decorating a space for a specific purpose — parlors, dining rooms and bedrooms. At the time of our country's founding, the idea of dedicating a space was considered a luxury, as most families' common rooms had multiple uses. Each session in the series will focus on a different room and include a focused tour through the house and a related presentation.
