Literacy Now will hold their annual Magnums Make a Difference Gala. Funds raised will benefit Literacy Now’s mission to transform communities by empowering children and families through literacy, leadership, and life skills.
The event will feature a multi-course gourmet meal paired with favorite large-format wine bottles to foster an atmosphere of sharing. In addition to a night of fine dining, guests will have the opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items. During the evening, Literacy Now will also present its Great Reader Award to one of their Reading Intervention students. This year’s Gala will honor Dr. Bhakti Khatri-Horton and Monsterville Horton, IV.
For over 14 years, Literacy Now has been on the frontline of transforming the lives of underserved and at-risk children and their families. Throughout its history, the organization has served more than 22,000 children and their parents through critical literacy, leadership, and life skills.
