Winter Cocktail marks the first, big event of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 2013 Man & Woman of the Year campaign. The candidates already secured for this year's campaign will celebrate their candidacy with their supporters in Mardi Gras-style, with Cajun-centered cuisine and French Quarter flair.

The Man & Woman of the Year campaign's fundraising officially kicks off on March 28, when 25 local men and women compete for the title of Man and Woman of the Year. Each dollar raised counts as one vote. The winner will be announced at the Grand Finale on June 7.

All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
