The first annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards celebrate current and future entrepreneurs. This year's experienced entrepreneur award winner is John B. Walker, founder and CEO of EnerVest, an oil and natural gas producing company. Walker is being recognized for his contributions to the Houston area and standout entrepreneurial spirit, community involvement, innovation and personal integrity.

The 2014 youth Entrepreneurial Excellence Award winner is Yash Semlani, whose lemonade stand and superior business skills resulted in more than $5,000 in sales, a portion of which will be donated to Texas Children's Hospital.

Gary Vaynerchuk, New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author as well as a self-trained wine and social media expert, will serve as the keynote speaker.
