Dallas native Lela Rose visits the new Tootsies to showcase her fall collection, which features fabrics that resemble thick paint scraped from a canvas and veiled overlays to achieve a sense of illusion. Rose got the idea from painting done by abstract artist Gehard Richter and worked with mills from Italy to achieve the scraped look on fabric.
She will make a personal appearance on Wednesday, May 11, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
