Legacy Community Health Services Luncheon

Anthony Kennedy Shriver is the keynote speaker at the annual Legacy Community Health Services luncheon. Legacy is also honoring Paul-David Van Atta and Holly Moore for their ongoing support of the organization. Shriver is a vocal advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In 1989, he founded Best Buddies International, an international organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities find employment and social opportunities. Shriver's mother, the late Eunice Mary Kennedy Shriver, founded the Special Olympics movement in 1968. His good friend, Becca Cason Thrash, is chairing the luncheon.
