Lecture: "A War That Can't Be Won" by Tony Payan with Fernando Brito

Presented in conjunction with the FotoFest exhibition Crónicas - Seven Mexican Artists Confront the Drug War, Tony Payan, Baker Institute Scholar for Immigration and Border Studies at Rice University, and Fernando Brito, Mexican photojournalist and photography editor at El Debate de Culiacán newspaper, Mexico, will offer perspectives on the drug war.

The lecture, held in the Ahern Room at the Crooker Center (Graustark beween Sul Ross and Branard), is presented by FotoFest in collaboration with The Latin America Initiative of Rice University's Baker Institute and the Center for International Studies at the University of St. Thomas.
