An explanation of plate tectonics and the March 11 earthquake in Japan, along with the issues with the nuclear power plants, will be addressed by William Pike, Ph.D. and Eric Smistad of U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Lab. This presentation is designed to educate the audience in the facts of the events that can be lost or misconstrued in media coverage.
