The Consulate General of Mexico, Rice University's Office of Multicultural Community Relations and Literal Latin American Voices will present a special lecture on the life of Frida Kahlo. The lecture, titled The Intimate World of Frida Kahlo, will be given by Hilda Trujillo Soto, the director of the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli Museums in Mexico City, and will be an opportunity to learn more about the artist as well as the artistic context in Mexico during the early 20th Century.
The lecture will be held in Robert R. Herring Hall on the Rice University campus.
