Presented by the World Affairs Council of Houston, James D. Wolfensohn discusses his remarkable life story, reflects on his time at the World Bank and share his thoughts on global development. Wolfensohn served as president of the World Bank from 1995-2005 and is chairman emeritus of Carnegie Hall and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
His book, A Global Life: My Journey Among Rich and Poor, from Sydney to Wall Street to the World Bank, will be available for purchase and signing following the program.
