League of Women Voters of the Houston Area will commemorate the Legacy and Promise of the beloved 19th Amendment, the amendment that in 1920 secured the right to vote for American women. 

The event will feature an all-you-can-eat-and-drink concession stand snacks and cocktail hour, a brief program featuring reflections on the 19th Amendment, and a special screening of Patty Jenkins' 2017 hit movie Wonder Woman staring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
