Lawndale Art Center is proud to present Speakeasy, a new program initiative that re- envisions Lawndale's "Speakeasy" series that took place from 1993-2002. This series will cast a reflexive eye on Lawndale's historical relationship to live performance and the exploration of issues in contemporary art.
The two-evening series will feature performances of David Dove/Jawwaad Taylor and Charalambides on April 29 and Helen Money and Soldier Kane on April 30.
