For its final 2016 exhibition, Laura Rathe Fine Art will present an introductory solo exhibition featuring works by world-renowned artist Hunt Slonem.
The World of Hunt Slonem will feature neo-expressionist paintings from Slonem’s popular series of rabbits, butterflies, and birds. In addition, the gallery space will be completely transformed with antique furniture from Slonem’s collection upholstered with fabrics of his own design, and brightly colored wall coverings embellished with his iconic imagery, to further present a true reflection of Hunt’s world of creativity. Each viewer will get a sense of the kinds of spaces Slonem creates, from his studio in Brooklyn, New York, to his many homes across the country.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 7, 2017.
