Latin Wave 6: Screening of Post Mortem

eventdetail

Post Mortem explores Pinochet's dictatorship in 1970s Chile, and takes place during one of the most tragic moments in 20th century Latin American history: The CIA-backed coup that overthrew Allende, Chile’s democratically elected socialist president. The narrative focuses on Mario, a civil servant who is so obsessed with Nancy, his alcoholic and anorexic neighbor, that he seems unaware of his violent and changing world.
