The Landing Theatre Company’s New American Voices Playwriting Festival is an annual event showcasing four exceptional plays written by outstanding emerging playwrights from across the United States. Play topics this year include: Climate Change, Shakespeare's Women, Rwanda and Punk Rock.

  • Writing for Devised Theatre (3 pm)
  • Writing with Cultural Intentionality (7 pm)

July 30:

  • The Virtue of Virtual (3 pm)
  • The New Galileos by Amy Berryman (7 pm)

July 31:

  • What I'd Say to My Younger Self - Real Talk for Young Writers (11 am)
  • Getting Past the World Premiere (3 pm)
  • Queen of Sad Mischance by John Minigan (7 pm)

August 1:

  • The Future of American Regional Theatre (3 pm)
  • Agathe by Angela J. Davis (7 pm)

 August 2:

  • The Best Punk Band in Conway, Missouri: An Oral History of Presley Cox and the Fallout Five by Kirby Fields (3 pm)
  • Closing Toast to the Playwrights (8 pm) - available to VIP festival ticket holders only
