labotanica hosts electronic music artists Bonnie Jones and Suzanne Thorpe in a workshop designed especially for young women. Participants to build their own contact microphones and use them to turn everyday objects into instruments. At the end of the class, participants will perform in this newly created object ensemble.

Following the workshop, Jones and Thorpe will each perform a solo work at labotanica at 7 p.m.
