The hardcore contemporary classical music ensemble Kronos Quartet comes to Houston's iFest to perform with the Homayun Sakhi Trio, a collaboration that has previously heard only in San Francisco and New York. Kronos, having the ability to adapt to a variety of different styles, from academic classical to ethnic fusion, pairs nicely with the Afghan trio to create a distinct sound aligned with iFest's theme, "The Silk Road: A Journey Across Asia."
