HSPVA Friends, the non-profit organization that supports Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (Kinder HSPVA), will host its second annual MusicFest, a music festival benefiting the Kinder HSPVA Music Departments.

This year, MusicFest will be a 24-hour livestream event featuring performances by current students, faculty, alumni, as well as archival materials from past Kinder HSPVA music concerts and recitals.

In addition to broadcasting performances, MusicFest will include a cooking demonstration featuring the original sauce recipe from Spaghetti Supper, the former musical fundraising event that dates back to 1971. MusicFest will also offer student-led masterclasses and appearances from special guests, including Distinguished Alum Jason Moran (Instrumental ’93), MacArthur Fellow and Artistic Director for Jazz at the Kennedy Center.
