Kids’ Meals, a nonprofit that makes and delivers free meals to poverty-stricken preschool-aged children, will raise funds to help end childhood hunger in Houston at the 14th Annual Harvest Luncheon.

Singer Jimmie Allen will take the luncheon stage to share his story of struggles of poverty and mental illness. KPRC’s Khambrel Marshall will serve as the emcee and join Allen onstage for an intimate Q&A.

Kids’ Meals will honor Valero as the Corporate Honoree, Kroger as the Collaborative Corporate Honoree, The Astros Foundation as the Volunteer Group of the Year, Drs. Nicci and Chris Greeley as the Burrelle Legacy Honoree, and Brandy and Zach Dworaczyk as the Golda & Gill Baker Honoree. Kids’ Meals will also recognize Volunteer of the Year recipients Vanessa Gobel, Donna Jett, and Helen Pung for their ongoing, strong support.
