Kemah Boardwalk welcomes area residents and families to join in a celebration honoring those who serve in the military and make innumerable sacrifices to keep us safe and protect our way of life. The Boardwalk will be transformed into a walking tour of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Guests will enjoy a host of entertainment and activities, including live performances by the 36th ID US Navy Band and Hamilton Loomis, Houston’s own Son of Blues; freefall performances by the U.S. Army Parachute Demonstration team, the Golden Knights, and an all veteran parachute jump team; a performance by Coast Guard Air Sea Rescue; a swear-in ceremony to honor the New Recruits; the National Anthem performed by a Navy Vocalist; ROTC and K-9 demonstrations; and American Legion Riders Post 554 escorting wounded veterans into Kemah.

The weekend will commence on Friday, November 6 with the Children of Fallen Soldiers Parade through the City of Kemah at 3:30 pm. Thereafter, throughout the weekend, attendees will experience static displays, interactive tours and various demonstrations of our country’s military branches and their equipment around the Boardwalk. Additionally, the AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopter, UH-1 Vietnam Era Helicopter, Texas Military Museum, and Wall of Honor will be on display for guests to admire and browse while enjoying the assorted activities.

Active military and veterans will enjoy 50% off all-day all-ride passes, and 25% off retail throughout the weekend, with valid proof of service.
