Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center (KVPAC), in partnership with Tradition Bank and The Periwinkle Foundation, presents "Making A Mark," an exhibition of art by children touched by cancer and blood disorders at Texas Children's Cancer & Hematology Centers. Showcasing the work of these young artists, the exhibit travels to the KVPAC West Oaks gallery.
Complimentary wine and cheese will be served.
"Making A Mark" encourages all to participate in sharing feelings through applied art or creative writing. Guests are invited to fill out a "Postcard from the Road" that is then sent to each artist to share the effect their artwork has had on the lives of others and to offer them encouragement.
On display through April 30 at KVPAC West Oaks, the exhibition is open for regular viewing hours on April 22, 24 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and by appointment.
