Katy Prairie Conservancy invites anyone to be a cowpoke for a day at its third annual "Unplugged Adventure: Ranch Roundup." These adventures are opportunities to get off the couch, out of the house and onto the prairie for some authentic, hands-on experiences in the great outdoors.

Ranch Roundup will feature professional cowboys rounding up cattle. Participants will also have a chance to test their lassoing skills, act out a Texas tall tale, snap a photo with a horse and take part in other fun activities. Registration fee includes barbecue lunch.
