Katy Prairie Conservancy hosts "Unplugged Adventure Range Ride"
Katy Prairie Conservancy
Cruise historic ranch roads on your bicycle while searching for wildlife and big Texas icons like oil wells and cattle. Cyclists of all ages — including children — are invited. Groups are welcome. Fall is a perfect time to enjoy the many outdoor activities on the Katy Prairie. The weather is generally mild, and there is a lot of wildlife to see. The Range Ride, part of KPC's Unplugged Adventures, gives people a chance to experience nature from a unique perspective while getting some great exercise.
Snacks will be provided, though it's recommended that participants bring a sack lunch. Advance registration is required; participants must bring their own bikes.
Katy Prairie Conservancy is also looking for volunteers to help lead participants on the ride, which begins and ends at Warren Ranch.
14002 Warren Ranch Rd.
Hockley, TX 77447
Admission is free.
All events are subject to change due to weather or other concerns. Please check with the venue or organization to ensure an event is taking place as scheduled.
