Katy Prairie Conservancy’s 2019 Bash: Our Roots Run Deep will celebrate the nonprofit’s deep commitment to the conservation and enhancement of our coastal prairie. This annual fundraiser brings together community members who are supportive of KPC’s mission to protect the coastal prairie for the benefit of its wildlife and all Texans forever. In the last two years, KPC has protected an additional 5,832 acres of land, restored another 300 acres of tallgrass prairie, and created 45 new acres of wetlands.
