Organ faculty member Daryl Robinson will present a program to learn more about the UH organ program and the opportunities available to organists in the city of Houston. The virtual event, hosted on Zoom, will give viewers a chance to tour the facilities, chat with current and recent students, and hear performances by members of the UH organ studio.
The Moores School of Music organ program is designed to prepare students to be adaptable and successful as both solo and collaborative musicians. Intentionally a small and selective program, they’re able to offer nearly unlimited access to an eclectic collection of organs both on- and off-campus, weekly lessons that go well beyond the traditional hour-long format of most schools, and abundant performance opportunities.
