This live in-person and virtually live-streamed performance by the Moores School Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Director of Orchestras Franz Anton Krager, will kick off the new Fall 2020 Season with a Classical mix of symphonies by two Classical greats, Franz Joseph Haydn & Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Haydn Symphony No 73 in D Major “La Chasse” (The Chase), and the iconic Mozart Symphony No 39 in E-Flat Major, K543 will be the featured works on the concert.

The orchestra will be positioned on stage in masks, socially distanced, with plexiglass panels utilized for the woodwind instruments to help ensure safety for the musicians and audience members.

All patrons will be required to wear face masks and maintain proper social distancing while attending live events at the University of Houston. Live events will be performed without intermission and seating will be assigned by ushers upon arrival to ensure proper social distancing between parties during the performance. Extra cleaning and sanitization measures have been implemented at the venue. Additionally, the Box Office will not be open at the venue for walk-up ticket registration. All ticket registration must be completed online in advance.

The performance will also be live-streamed for patrons and supporters who prefer to enjoy the concert from the comfort and safety of their home.
