In the Blood, one of Suzan-Lori Parks’ Red Letter plays, is a riff on Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlett Letter. Hester La Negrita is a mother five, homeless, and living under a bridge. Used by the system and deadbeat men, Hester attempts to find joy and hope through her children only to encounter devastating consequences.

This play will be presented virtually beginning April 22 at 8 pm. It will be continuously viewable until April 25 at 11 pm.
