Former U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens makes a rare appearance to speak at the Progressive Forum. Widely regarded as the leader of the liberal wing of the court until his recent retirement, Stevens, 90, was the third-longest serving justice in its history. A native of Chicago, he attended the University of Chicago before serving in the Navy during World War II, earning a Bronze Star for his work as a code-breaker.
