In 1925, 12 determined and bold women founded an organization to better the Houston community. The work of a few ignited a spark that has developed into a transformative flame carried forth by almost 5,000 women today. For almost 100 years, the women of the Junior League of Houston have emitted light and hope throughout our beloved community by working with some of our cities most vulnerable populations.
For the last year, the Junior League of Houston has focused on meeting the basic needs of food insecurities, clothing and healthcare for so many adversely impacted by the global pandemic. The spark of the founders serves as the inspiration for the theme of the 73rd Annual Charity Ball, Illuminate. The reimagined, virtual event will raise critical funds to support the League’s Community Program and other volunteer initiatives.
All tables include a three-course gourmet meal, premium wine pairings, a décor package to help guests celebrate at home, access to a commemorative video highlighting the League’s work in the Houston community, and access to a silent auction and raffle.
