Jung Young Moon, author of Vaseline Buddha (Deep Vellum, 2016) and A Contrived World (2014, Dalkey Archive), will be presenting his new title, Seven Samurai Swept Away in A River. This new title, translated by Yewon Jung, is inspired by the award-winning author's time spent at 100 W Corsicana, a writers' and artists' residency in small-town Texas.

Moon will be joined in conversation by Taylor Davis-Van Atta, founding publisher and co-editor of the international journal Music & Literature. This event will also feature custom cocktails themed after Jung’s title, and boasts a book discount if event attendees purchase a drink.
