Jung Center Lecture Series: "A Place at the Table"

The Jung Center and the Human Rights Campaign are co-sponsoring "A Place at the Table," a lecture series that addresses the historical, political and social issues faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families and friends. Lectures are scheduled for four Thursdays in September.

Sept. 5 -  "Seneca Falls, Selma, Stonewall: A Brief History of the Modern Gay Rights Movement"
Speaker: Jill Carroll, author and religious tolerance expert

Sept. 12 - "The Legal Status of LGBT Rights"
Speaker: Mitchell Katine, attorney and gay rights activist

Sept. 19 - "Navigating the LGBT Alphabet in 2013: Reflecting on Sexual Diversity from a Jungian Perspective"
Speaker: Robert Hopcke, California therapist and author

Sept. 26 - "Raising an Oddly Normal Child"
Speaker: John Schwartz, New York Times national correspondent and author

TICKET INFO

$20 per lecture; $15 for members of the Jung Center and co-sponsoring organizations; $70 for the series; $55 for Jung Center members.
