The Jung Center is an ideal venue for Dallas-based artist Julia Ousley’s "Illuminated Soles" installation. The imagery for this work arose from a dream she processed with her long-term, Jungian analyst-led dream group. As a trained architect and sculptor, Ousley uses materials unconventional to sculpture but common to architectural construction, and creates art about the place where the human condition and the built environment intersect.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until May 29.
