In Trying to find my way… David A. Brown presents single exposure images that capture the complexity of metropolitan landscapes by presenting an unfiltered view. His frames are densely packed, portraying the quantity of information humans process daily. In order to navigate this information, biology and experience — sensory, cultural and historical — creates assumptions that usher people along their way.
These images impart a sense of confusion and longing allowing the viewer to connect with what it means to find one's way in life.
The exhibition, part of FotoFest, is on view March 3-28.
