The Arts and Exhibition Committee of The Jung Center reached a stalemate as to whom to include in the 2015 exhibition calendar. So, for the first time, the gallery will present a group show to display the work of all deserving artists. This idea is inspired by the Salon des Refusés, which provided a space for the avant-garde work of artists such as Gustave Courbet and Édouard Manet. This exhibition will feature innovative artwork by Keith J.R. Hollingsworth, Janet Hull Ruffin, Valentina Kisseleva and Charisse Weston. These four artists work in a variety of media — encaustic, oil, wood block and assemblage.

On view from Jan. 6 through Jan. 30.
