Clemente Garcia-Lassaulx teaches in his Montrose studio, helping many students turn their visions into works of art. This fall, Clemente will exhibit his own personal visions in a series of new abstract paintings on view at The Jung Center Gallery.
In "It's Not A Dream," Clemente combines oil and acrylic to create shapes and colors that unify these often distinctly used materials. Each painting is an encounter of differences, brought together to reveal their potential harmony. For more than 50 years, The Jung Center has served as a nonprofit resource offering dynamic and compelling classes – “continuing education for the human spirit” – on a diverse range of psychological, artistic, and intellectual topics.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through December 19.
